Professional Background
My career started as a line manager in the catering industry, from where I quickly ended up setting up my own HR department in a rapidly growing private catering company. From there, I gained my professional qualification (CIPD) and moved into coaching and mentoring high growth businesses as an adviser with Business Link for London. With Business Link, I worked with a range of SME businesses from different sectors, ranging from manufacturing to media, professional services to charities. This exposure has given me an appreciation of the need to be flexible in my approach as a consultant and coach, as well as an understanding of the issues within various industries. I set up my own coaching and consultancy business in 2004 and since then have specialised in leadership coaching, particularly through times of transition and change.
