March2005 to date : Consultant to GSM operator for their NOC, VAS node centre, Billing centre at Kolkata. Responsible for integrating 10 MSCs spread all over the country with the NOC. Planning and optimizing the connectivity with Digital Cross Connect, SS7, Frame relay and TCP/IP.
Jan2002 to Feb05 : Worked for Webel ISP project for expansion of their network within Kolkata and Outside Kolkata with fiber optic cable ,modem, ISM radio.
Dec1999 to Dec2001 : Worked as All India Network Head for Caltiger ISP and was responsible for roll out of their service in Kolkata, Mumbai, Bangalore, Mangalore using long distance lease circuits ,STM, HDSL copper modem, RAS, routers.
July 1997 to Dec 1999 : As Head of Network West Bengal for Reliance Telecom Limited I took the leadership of installing and commissioning of GSM network in West Bengal involving MSCs[Ericsson CME20] and BSCs[Motorola GSM900],MXE[multi messaging platform] in Durgapur and Siliguri, ensured acceptance testing and acceptance by statutory authorities.
1969 to June1997 As Sub Divisional Engineer responsible for installation of DoTs new technology land line switches like E10B, OCB 283 Alcatel, EWSD Siemens.
Training : Training on OTA,EIR,IN,SMSC,GPRS[ SGSN,GGSN]
Cellular MobileTelephony by Motorola.
AXE10 switching system by Ericsson.
EWSD O&M specialist by Siemens.
