Consultancy
Working to improve the value and profitability of businesses by working with their owner / managers. Initial involvement is to help the owner to develop a clear vision and a strategy to achieve that. Then ongong regular weekly contact and monthly review meetings to keep the process of change on track. Incidental coaching of the owner and senior management team to enable them bette fulfil their roles.
Executive Coaching
Having had to implement numerous performance management systems, I have had a great deal of experience in one to one coaching of subordinates. More recently I have had to coach business owner / managers in their roles as part of the plan to achieve their goals.
Facilitation
Designing an appropriate session to achieve the aims of the individal or group, and managing the session to ensure that they achieve what they want to. A recent example is working with the management team of a regional probation service to help them think through the implications of contestability.

Training adviser to some 40 companies and management development specialist for a Government Training Board, covering supevision and management development, supervisory skills, train the trainer courses. Head of Consultant Development for a major life insurance company covering product education and sales techniques. Contract university lecturer on a number of topics including negotiation skills and conflict resolution.
