I have been ‘formally‘ helping people for over ten years, initially as a counsellor and psychotherapist in the NHS and for the last seven years as a coach.
I have worked with individuals and teams from board level through management and admin. teams, often over quite extended periods. This experience has been gained in a diverse range of organisations including public sector, not for profit and corporate bodies.
I take particular pride in my ability to bring a very wide range of psychological skills to the table so that I can more readily offer the client what is needed.

Executive Coaching

I offer business and executive coaching to individuals and teams.
The formal qualifications underpinning this are my accreditation with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and my membership of the faculty of the William Glasser Institute (a cognitive behavioural ‘coaching‘ certification).
My style varies, from strong and active when indicated to a slower more reflective way of working if this suits the client and the clients goals.

Training

The training I provide is linked to my recent book publication. “A Guide to Coaching and Mental Health, the recognition and management of psychological issues” – pubished by Routledge in September 2006.
I train mentors and coaches in the skills needed to recognise and manage mental health issues and a similar training is offered to a wider busines audience to help manage the impact that psychological issues bring to thw workplace.
